The Birthing Room

Enduring a process can feel like it’s staged in a birthing room.
Individuals are there cheering you on yet none of them are feeling the pain you are experiencing, causing you at times to feel alone.  The desire to have the baby (promise) has reached a crescendo, but the necessary pain accompanied with this moment is frightening.  The pain seems unbearable and is filled with panic, fear and doubt.  The realization is clear, the only way to stop the pain is to go through it – pushing through the pain to obtain the promise is the only way.

Obtaining the promises of God could require you to push pass the emotions of screaming, crying, profusely sweating, squeezing a hand, taking calculated breaths, giving all you have within to receive it.  You have to push pass doubt, the unknown, insecurity, abuse, the past, your disappointments and failures.  You can do it ~ you can push through the birthing phase into promise.  Just PUSH!

  1. Yes Cathy sometimes we have to dig down deep to find that place where the Holy Spirit is and where the peace we need rest. We do have to push pass all of the emotions, feelings and heart breaks to find that place where it's just us, God and peace. The fight to get to that place is worth all that we have to go through to get there. So we fight and we fight and we fight to find our savior. Our savior that clams our fears, pains and clears away the insanity so we can see clearly to road ahead. Be blessed...

    1. I am inspired by your words of wisdom! Especially when you remind us that it's WORTH the pain, the fight. Keeping the end in mind helps us endure and become victorious. Knowing that for every tear JOY is coming gives us the strength to PUSH towards PROMISE!
